The following summer, he edited, produced, and co-directed the short film Before the Storm. Zimmerman also edited, wrote, and directed Into the Woods, his homage to '80's horror films and also the fourth film with Obery. In 2008, Zimmerman served as second unit director of photography for Edgar Michael Bravo's One Hour Fantasy Girl. Most recently, Zimmerman executive produced and served as director of photography on Bravo's psychological thriller The Magic Stone.
